Don’t underestimate the power of a rejected stone. We are a Christian digital marketing company based in Kerrville, Texas – a hidden gem just outside of San Antonio. Our passionate team is spread across the country and even beyond. Our unwavering faith is what unites us all.

Short answer: yes, you do.  Can you think of any successful organization that has been around for more than three years and doesn’t have a marketing team or at least a well-thought-out marketing strategy?  Starting a business is easy; anyone can do it.  Keeping it going and growing is far from easy.

The long answer is it depends

Are you a startup Ministry, non-profit, or business?  In this case, the answer is a resounding YES. Unless you have the time and marketing talents to do it yourself, a well-structured marketing team or strategy is crucial for your initial growth and success.

If you already have an established Ministry, non-profit, or business, then it depends on which of two scenarios  you fall —

  1. I’m happy with the results of my Ministry so far, and if I look ahead two to five years and see that I’m where I’m at now +/—10%, I’d be thrilled!
  2. Looking ahead to two to five years, you want to increase your Ministry’s size by 25% to 250%,

If you answered scenario #1, it sounds like you’re doing well independently; you must keep doing what you already do.  If you run into any difficulties, message me.  I may be able to offer advice.

If you answered scenario #2, you’ll need a marketing team, and we would be honored to help your Ministry grow.

a rejected stone is a for-profit company.  However, our mindset separates us from some other digital marketing companies: We’re not motivated by profit but by furthering God’s kingdom.

Creating a small website doesn’t have to be complicated!

  • Use a Pre-Built Theme: WordPress offers many free and affordable themes that are easy to customize with a little practice.
  •
  • Design Help: If you need design advice, ask a friend or family member for help.  I’m sure you know someone who has a nephew that can do this blindfolded.
  •
  • Drag and Drop:  While drag-and-drop builders like Wix, Squarespace, and Weebly offer accessible entry points for website creation, their limitations become more apparent in moderate to complex digital landscapes. These platforms may suffice for basic online presence, but their inherent constraints often result in generic, indistinguishable websites. While better than nothing, they frequently fail to deliver genuinely impactful online experiences.
  • Faith-Based Options: Tithe.ly and Pushpay offer user-friendly solutions for religious organizations.

Remember, the key is to find a platform that suits your needs and makes website management easy!

PS – I know from experience that all hosting companies are not created equal.  Shop around and get the one that offers the most useful features at a fair price.

Three Essential Qualities of a Christian Website Design Professional

When selecting a Christian website designer, we recommend focusing on these three key attributes:

  1. A Deep-Rooted Faith: After viewing their site, use the old adage—if Christianity were a crime, can you find enough evidence in their site to convict.  If not, I would be hesitant to deal with them.
  2. Open and Honest Communication: Transparency is essential.  Are they easy to contact?  Are they willing to set up a complimentary meeting(s) to learn about you and your goals?  And you know about them.
  3. Do they seem sincere?: This is a big deal.  Don’t hesitate to ask questions.  Do they seem like they sincerely want to help or lighten your wallet?  Go with your gut on this one. Don’t commit if something doesn’t feel right,

We do website design work in San Antonio, TX—a Christian graphic designer for your Ministry or business.

Absolutely not! We strongly advise against generic, one-size-fits-all marketing solutions. Not only is this cookie-cutter approach to marketing your organization an insult to you, but it’s also bad for your brand over the long haul. Every ministry is unique, driven by distinct individuals and purposes. Effective marketing demands a deep understanding of these nuances.  More simply put, do you want your Ministry or business to be and look like everyone else or stand out from the crowd?

Developing a compelling brand identity is what we do and do well. It’s not just a service; it’s an investment in your ministry’s success, a testament to the importance we place on our work.

At a rejected stone, we excel in crafting tailored marketing strategies. Our process begins with a comprehensive understanding of your ministry’s mission and target audience. With this knowledge, we develop a roadmap to elevate your brand and attract your ideal clientele.

Whether you need specialized digital marketing services or a full-service marketing team, we are your strategic partners. Our expertise spans Christian and Hebrew business naming, church branding, local church SEO, and beyond. We’d like to handle the marketing so you can focus on your core mission.

I am steadfast in my Lord Jesus Christ, my light, and my salvation. He is alive and well and at the right hand of God. I believe He will return to earth a second time to do battle, but no one knows when that will be. All the success of this company will be given to Him and Him alone. Everything has been done through his guidance.  We are a faith based business, and this in turn improves your brand identity by capturing the essence of our mutual beliefs

Our Christian beliefs run deep, we’re not a catchy Christian, meaning we don’t just talk the talk but also walk the walk.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of enhancing your website’s visibility on search engine results pages (SERPs).

Once your website’s content and design are complete and appealing to visitors, we can implement SEO techniques. This involves optimizing your website to match the keywords and phrases people use when searching for products or services like yours. This helps search engines understand your website’s relevance and improve its ranking in search results.

No, we do not, at least not at the time of this writing.  Even though our team has decades of experience in their dedicated talents, the company, a rejected stone, is a new Ministry.  Just as Walmart, Amazon, and Apple were at one time just a thought in someone’s head, and someone gave them a chance, we, too, are looking for that someone.  We will work very hard to bring you success as the Lord will.

Creative Christian business names are just the beginning.  Our branding for churches includes local church SEO, web design, and UX writing; we do it all.

At a rejected stone, we value trust above all else. We will never pretend to be someone we’re not, and we won’t resort to displaying fake testimonials.  All our testimonials are honest, sincere, and not coerced in any way, ensuring transparency in our business practices.

My role is twofold.  I’m the project manager and perform most of all the SEO tasks.  As far as website design, UX writing, Logo design, Social Media, etc.  I leave that to the professionals in their respective fields.

That’s a good question. The answer is that you could. The problem with doing that is that the cost would most likely be 2-3 times higher, not to mention the stress that goes along with it. First, let’s not forget why you’re hiring a market team. It takes that stress off of you so you can concentrate on improving what you do.

I personally vet all of our freelancers, and the one assigned to do the work your ministry needs will be the best for that particular assignment. We get it done right the first time, which saves you time and resources. On top of that, if you disagree, we offer a 25-day money-back guarantee starting when payment is received. This is my guarantee, not the freelancers’. That’s how confident I am in their abilities.

Another thing to consider is quantity discounts.  Because of our buying power, I can negotiate a better deal for you.

I cannot answer this as I don’t know who you are or your needs. All of our work is billed by the task at hand, never hourly or by the day, so you know upfront, and there are no surprises later.

The second part of your question depends solely on what needs to be done.  The bulk of your expenses are most likely in the beginning.  People need to know you exist.  Once they know, it’s just maintenance marketing unless you’re introducing a new product or service.

We provide all digital marketing services to accomadate your small or startup business, non-profit organization, and Church or Ministry.

We’re a San Antonio website design professionals, Christian graphic designer, SEO services including Local church SEO, UX writing, and more.  All in a way that cares about your success just as if we had skin in the game.

Assuming that both of us agree that our marketing agency, a rejected stone, would be a good fit, we’ll start as soon as possible putting together a marketing plan.   This plan becomes an internal “road map” that outlines the tasks that need to be accomplished, who will be doing these tasks, and at what timeframe and cost.

In essence, we promise:

  • We will never waste your resources on anything that is not in your best interest
  • Whatever the task at hand, we’ll put our best people on it
  • We never lose sight of the fact that all Ministry is not for our benefit, but the Lord’s.

Our name, a rejected stone, is written in all lowercase to signify our humbleness.  We recognize that all of our skills and talents are not of our own but given to us freely by God.  If you wish to shine a spotlight on us, please don’t, but instead give Him all the accolades.
